New FBC Series

Nichiyu Australia's new FBC series of electric counterbalanced forklift trucks has arrived in Australia.
These new forklifts are designed to fill the gap between electric and IC units, which has been missing in the Australian market.
An electric forklift that is equivalent to engine powered forklifts for container loading and unloading is well overdue.
Nichiyu have designed this forklift to work in tougher applications, such as transport where the overall height of the new
FBC25P is only 1050mm, which allows the unit to work inside the older style reefer containers.
The FBC series has higher travel speeds, increased gradeability, lower centre of gravity for stability, faster lifting and lowering speeds.
Other benefits are that the FBC range meets the 'IPX3' standard, which ensures safe operation outdoors including when it is raining.
The FBC are equipped with the SICOS-AC highly efficient control system and the Nichiyu-designed regenerative functions.
The newly-designed 70 volt system increases work cycles and is suited to a double shift application.
The longer battery life and easier access to the battery compartment ensures the battery is economical and easier to maintain.
